February News from the Salon ✨
I love this time of year.
January always feels a little slow and steady… and then February arrives and suddenly there’s a little buzz in the air again. Fresh trims, healthy coats, cleaner teeth (it is Doggy Dental Month after all!), and lots of fluffy faces coming through the door.
But this February feels extra exciting for me personally…
I’m Competing at Crufts 🐾
This year, Crufts is hosting its very first grooming competition, run by professional grooming brand Artero and I’ll be competing on Saturday 7th March in the afternoon class.
And honestly? I’m so excited.
This isn’t my first competition, but competing at Crufts feels different. It’s the biggest dog show in the world, and to step into that ring as a groomer is such a proud moment.
What makes it even more special is that I’m a content creator for Artero, so being part of their very first Crufts grooming competition feels like everything has aligned perfectly.
A little “meant to be” moment ✨
What This Means for Your Dogs
When I enter competitions, it’s never just about the day itself.
It pushes me to refine my scissoring.
To perfect my prep work.
To focus even more on coat condition and finish.
To pay attention to every tiny detail.
And that all comes straight back into the salon.
Whether your dog comes in for a Cockapoo teddy trim, a Spaniel tidy-up, or a full luxury groom, you’re getting techniques and standards that are competition level.
I truly believe your dog deserves that.
Thank You for Being Part of This Journey
Running a dog grooming salon in Bewdley is something I’m incredibly proud of. From the gorgeous Doodles and Cockapoos to the perfectly polished Schnauzers and soft, fluffy Bichons — every dog that walks through the door is part of this story.
So when I step into the Crufts competition ring, I’m not just going as “me”.
I’m going as your groomer.
Representing my little salon.
Representing the dogs I groom every single week.
And that feels really special 💛
If you’re visiting the show, send me all the good luck energy on Saturday 7th March in the afternoon class!
I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes over on Instagram too.
See you in the salon soon,
